Does anyone know if you can use a standard Boingo Unlimited Wireless Plan ($14.99/month) on a VS A350?
I’ve read that if you have the Virgin Mastercard+, you can use the Boingo benefit that comes with it to get free wi-fi on A350s, but I wondered if the same applied to the monthly plan. Has anyone here done it successfully?
To answer my own question: no, the Boingo Unlimited plan does not cover wi-fi on Virgin. You need the special Boingo account that comes with the Mastercard+ to do so. (Source: Boingo support).

Boingo from the R+ works fine on all but the A333s, which don’t support it. Where the Boingo link is changes depending on whether Gogo or Panasonic is running the show behind the scenes. Personally, I fly VS that often that I find the £160 R+ charge/yr is covered solely by not having to pay WiFi charges each flight (it works out at about 5 flights to break even).
