Booked 2 identical rooms with points and cash prices were same when I booked in January

Have your booking confirmation email in front of you and call the hotel dirrctly, ask them to fix it and wait on the line while they do so. Call in office hours their time if you can so management is there if needed – but asap if booking is that soon.
If it’s not corrected immediately, ask them to confirm by email, call IHG or whichevet chain it is, Custoner Services.
We have had rare reports of hotels apoarently trying this 9n but if you’ve got your confirmation email that’s close to a contract so they shouldn’t be ablecto get away with it. Stand your ground.
I don’t understand this. Points bookings take the points at the time of booking. Are you saying that the reservation details now show a higher points rate than was taken from your account at the time of booking? Have you seen the additional points leave your account? Points should not arbitrarily be getting deducted.
I booked Sheraton 5 nights with points and 2 nights with cash all at same time on 1 booking 2 rooms
Room 1 is still correct price €330 for the 2 nights
Room2 price has been increased to €480 for 2 nights
Where are you seeing these prices?
In your actual Marriott booking online /in app or when doing a search to see what the prices are now?
Even if within the booking your contract is the price in the booking email.
There are sometimes glitches where a different price might show within the booking for various reasons but as far as the contract goes what’s in your email is what you should pay.
I would only ask about this at the hotel. Calling beforehand isn’t always the best way to sort this and of course on their system it might very well show the original price – in which case there’s nothing to worry about.
It is on my Marriott account under the booking shows room 1 at 1 price room 2 at more expensive price
They have upgraded room 1 to a suite so was just going to question price when we check in tonight
Got it all sorted out at Sheraton Fuerteventura very helpful staff something had went wrong with there
Computer but they have the option to search for any prices changes on there system and sorted it out.
Great staff and nothing was too much for them to sort out
