Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Booking Qantas award flights via BAEC

Can anybody tell me how I can do this?

When I search the Qantas website I’m seeing plenty of availability for LHR > SIN in F but when I try to search via BAEC, nothing. The awful, outdated, laggy website takes several minutes between page loads too, so I’m getting nowhere.

I’m new to all this. Is Qantas direct availability different from partner availability?

Also, when I search on the Qantas site I’m getting quoted over 1 million points in their own Qantas miles. I’m assuming the Avios price will be much lower?

    Thanks!

The availability you are seeing on the QF website is their flex/saver award space – this is dynamically prices based on the ticket price and is poor value (as you say millions of miles in some cases). This isn’t available to BAEC (which isn’t a bad thing!) – you want to see Classic Reward availability in the cabin you want, as these are made available to book with Avios.

I think you’ll struggle to find F availability especially on the LHR-SIN route.
