Just got off the phone with a super-helpful and very knowledgeable chap, and MAD-MEX-MAD-LHR all booked fine (and no phone booking fee). Mexico here I come! He even volunteered the IB reference number for MMB purposes as he said not all the CS agents do so and he knows it’s different to the BA one (it’s a 5 digits one). We also had a brief natter about Royal Jordanian status, it sounded like he might look into it for himself lol!

@tootsci – delighted you booked what you wanted successfully. Each time I’ve booked recently they have been very helpful and chatty and have also volunteered the IB reference number. I couldn’t believe they actually held the tickets and called me back when I got cut off before payment. I really did think I’d lost the tickets and he said he was concerned too as IB tickets don’t always go back on sale. Look forward to hearing about your trip in due course.
