Booking room for my wife on my account

Hi,
I know some hotel chains allow you to book a room for a family member but can’t find confirmation either way about Radisson. Have got VIP status and my wife was hoping to take advantage of that for a stay in Bangkok later in the year. There’s a possibility I will be able to join here but it’s far from confirmed. Would I be okay booking a room, adding her as the extra guest and then if I don’t make it she’d be fine to check in?

Did this yesterday for my wife. Last minute stay in London. Made a booking via phone, discount booster switched on, phone agent offered same rate as that I was seeing online. Booked on my account with note on booking saying wife (name) would be lead guest.

She checked in with no issues, gift in room and breakfast following day.

Email/call the hotel and let them know what you are planning, if they have a problem with it then at least you find out now instead of at check in
