Could someone advise me please?
I need to book two rooms at a Marriott hotel (University Arms, Cambridge)for us and another couple who will being staying for a shorter time: we will arrive before them and leave after. My wife and I each have Gold status FWIW.
I think that the best way would be for each of us to book a room; I book in when we arrive and my wife books in when the friends arrive (or even earlier that morning) and gives them the room key.
Is this likely to cause a problem?
It’s what we’ve done a few times in various Marriotts when we’re staying with someone else who’s not a Bonvoy member. No problems so far, and I can’t see why there would be.
Thanks Matt. I forgot to say that we are paying with points.
