Booking via BA vs Qatar

Hey guys

Does anyone know why I’d be getting different quotes when looking to book via Qatar vs via BA?

Same dates, same flight (Qatar metal) LHR > BKK rtn in Y:

Qatar: 75k avios + £543.56
BA: 75k avios + £332.56

Obvious answer is just not to worry, and just book via BA. But I thought I read they’d recently altered the booking systems so they match like for like? Can anyone shed any light?

Alas, I’ve answered my own question. Qatar defaults to showing you the price vs the number of Avios you actually have (in my case, 64,887 Avios + £543.56). Whereas BA will show you the standard price for 75k Avios, even if you don’t have enough.
