Hi All,
Does anyone know what is going on with the 3k bonus we were supposed to get for signing up for the BA prepaid Mastercard a couple of months ago?
How long does it take to get the bonus?
For the British Airways Prepaid Mastercard, 1,500 Avios welcome bonus will be awarded to your BAEC account if you have held your Card for 90 days and have spent a minimum of either £500, $500 or €500 in any one currency within 90 days of activating your Card. ATM transactions do not apply.

They should send the points within 30 days after 90 days of activating the card.
This seems fair as part of the condition for the bonus was holding the card for 90 days, not just the minimum spend.
Yep, when I activated, I added a reminder to my calendar for activation + 120 days to check for the sign up bonus and to cancel my card.
I got 1500 this morning. Signed up via the HFP promo code. Couldn’t even remember if it was 1500, 2000 or 3000. Hopingbthe other 1500 lands separately.
Yes, 1500 arrived this morning as well.
I also got just 1500. I applied via the HfP offer so expected to receive 3000 avios. Does anyone know when the additional 1500 will be credited?
I haven’t received anything, probably because I split my spend between GBP and EUR. I was told on live chat this was fine but apparently not, and it didn’t sound like it from the terms either. It’s still a bit unclear, I’m not impressed.
I too got the basic 1,500 yesterday but not the additional HFP bonus points.
Hoping they arrive soon.
So I looked to see how to chase these points. The T & C on the app says “Choose chat with us from the main menu of the app”. Eh? For the life of me, I can’t find that option. Is there any email address do we know? Thanks…
There is a Chat With Us option in the main manu on the app (second option from the bottom) but it seems to be unsupported. I have been waiting for an agent for over an hour. Goging to give them a call.
So, I have just called BA and was informed that Mastercard did not apply the additional bonus (double bonus) for using the HfP promotion and there was nothing they could do as the card is managed by Mastercard, not BA. They suggested picking it up directly with Mastercard. Joke!
Thought it was a waste of time. Oh well…

Yes but only 1500. The HfP extra 1500 seems to be a mystery to everyone!
A second lot of 1500 miles has landed today from the Prepaid card into my Exec account… Time to close!!
I just got the extra 1500 points. Did the webchat to close the account. They ask for a lot of personal information to verify…. a bit too many questions in my opinion (name, 1st line of address, postcode, date of birth, email address). I asked if they will confirm it’s closed by email or letter and they said they don’t do that. Hmmm!!!! So I did a screen shot of the last few lines of the webchat. There is a box that says “email webchat” but there is no “SEND” button.
I haven’t got the 1500 original nor the 1500 TPs. I hit the target on the day the card was issued to me. Where do I contact?
