British Airways You First can help with Avios bookings on partners — I did not know this.
Called You First in desperation as the Japan Airlines site is pretty awful in general, and specifically does not allow APIS details like passport number to be added to a booking made via a partner airline. I figured You First they would not be able to help add passport details as it’s not a BA booking and the functionality isn’t in BA’s Manage my Booking online — but it turns out they can, and they will.
Posting this in case anyone else needs to search for the information. Looking forward to my first First with JAL, and only my second First ever 🙂
