Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Business pricing LHR-JFK – MUCH cheaper than Prem Economy for Sep 2025?

  • 16 posts

Just been playing around with several sites (BA, Aer Lingus) to look at prices for business fares (not travelling till 2026 but was just curious at how they vary between peak and off peak).

Just seen that for BA in late September this year (23rd) from LHR to JFK – business fares are – significantly cheaper than Prem Economy for a one way flight (£1306 vs £2650)??

Is this a pricing error as surely that can’t be correct?? Posting here to see if anyone can benefit /needs to book- only try at your own risk though (!!) If its not an error then I’d be interested to know why the pricing can be like that?

This can happen when there are only the pricier nore flexible PE seats available but there are plenty of the cheaper but not so flexible club ones.

Tis can also be exagerated by the nature of one way fares.

These aren’t error fares and won’t be rescinded. This happens on a fairly regular basis.

One-way fares can be more expensive than return.
