Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Business Selling Class: D

    Hi folks
I’m organising a tier point run to EDI. My BA London City Business Class ticket is showing as Business Selling Class: D. Will this earn full [40] points as it appears to say “lowest with reduced tier points” at the point of choosing? I need exactly 40 points and will be coming back in the cheap seats to Southampton so I need to get this right.
    Thanks

Each of the Club selling classes J, C, D, R and I earn full TP. I think the “lowest with reduced tier points” that they show at the start of the booking process is for economy only. You can check your specific route/class on the BA tier point calculator to reassure yourself.

Thanks. Sometimes the moons align… I received an email this morning about an e-voucher which I had comepletely forgotten about. £120. So you were correct, I booked LCY to EDI for £120 Club using the voucher to discount the fare [For the needed 40 tier points], WT from EDI to Southampton for £80. All I have to do is get to LCY [£14 train] and get picked up at SOU on my return. Silver for £250ish and until Nov ’23. Well happy. Thanks for the advice.
