@Cat Thanks for the island tips. I see that there’s also a Six Senses resort on Krabey Island which looks pretty special albeit not bookable with IHG points at this time.
Really good to read your trip report. Brought back many memories of our trip last year. So pleased the boat to Phu Quoc worked.
We visited both the genocide museum and the genocide centre outside the city. They were very moving and we shed a number of tears. We needed to go back to our hotel for a stiff drink afterwards. We also stayed at the Palace Gate hotel. We liked the pool, bar and location too. We got a good deal through Luxury Escapes.
Interested to hear you were given another 45 day entry to Vietnam. We were going to return to Vietnam after our visit to Australia and New Zealand, but couldn’t find confirmation that we would get entry again so went to Indonesia instead.
