Hi Guys,
I’m hoping someone can help.
I’m looking to book a trip to Bali next year. I am trying to find the best way to fly business class using avios.
I have a 2-4-1 Amex voucher and a barclays upgrade. We are a family of 3, my daughter will be 2 at the time.
I’ve had a play about with the BA website and I think the best route would be to fly to Singapore, stay for 2/3 nights then fly to Bali.
Singapore seems to be a very popular route, so the 2-4-1 Amex vouchers shows availability for business return on the mock date next may. ( I would be travelling in July )
I’ve then tried the same dates with Barclays and it shows the outbound available but no inbound. There is however a premium economy inbound but the website only lets you book business or PE both ways.
Is there a way in which I can do business outbound and PE inbound?
Thanks for your help.
Good question – very possibly nobody has tried to do this yet. I don’t know whether it would work if you booked the outbound online then called BA to add the inbound and ask them to book you into PE instead of CW, if there’s no CW availability.
With SIN being so popular you’ll probably need to book each leg as soon as its released anyway.
I’m also thinking of this…but in addition, open jaw! Will report
back if I build up the energy to ring…
