Hi guys, I’ve family travelling to Bahrain and would like to gift them 2 dragon pass for access to the lounge at Bahrain airport. Would this be at all possible and has anyone been able to do this? Got the dragon pass access through the barclays premier banking.
The T&Cs are framed as the lounge passes being for You and Your use, which is defined as the primary cardholder/accountholder. I would take that as a no. You might get lucky but is it worth the hassle.
Just checked the email I got from Premier+ on that. Language is very clear: “… and can be used by you and your family and friends, as long as they are travelling with you as the cardholder”.
That said, when you open the app and create a pass it simply displays a QR. If you screenshot that and send it to the person they can give that at the door and may be able to enter. I do not travel with my Barclaycard so would not be able to use the DPass if they asked for that (which they don’t).
Use this guide to sign up your family members to their own free dragon pass account. Myregus gives free membership and each visit will be £19

I think you’ll struggle, as the QR code still has the account holder’s name on it, and the lounge dragon will ask for a boarding pass – and lookg for a matching name if they’re doing their job properly…

no, if they follow the link I provided, the VERY person creates an account in their name!

BUT THE OP WANTS TO GIFT THEM – SO CREATING AN ACCOUNT FOR £19 EACH DOES NOT ACHIEVE THIS!!

Gift no, but in essence you can create the account in their name with your/OP cc details. Really not complicated. Jesus.

The Regus gives free normal dragon pass accouts, but Barclays uses Premier+. It needs the same name as the bank account when register. Is there a way to “transfer” passes from Premier+ to normal accounts? I have Amex priority pass, so it’d be useful to gift my 4 Barclays Premier+ passes to friends/families.
I tried to register my sister using the code Barclays sent to me. Didn’t work. name has to be the same from the Bank…
