Can you combine the “Companion Voucher” you can get with the BA Amex credit card with booking a “Flight + Hotel” (rather than just flights) on British Airways web site?
We’re thinking about getting the BA Amex card, and we’ve been booking the flight and hotel as one purchase (not sure if that’s the best option?)
No, the companion voucher can only be used on award flights (i.e. paid for with avios).

Re: Flight + Hotel – your choice depends on a lot on your destination, plans, budget etc – sometimes it’s cheaper to book separately, however you may wish to pay more because you want the guarantees/protections a BA Holiday brings, so you book Flight + Hotel.
And then sometimes its cheaper to book the Flight + Hotel instead of booking separately – so – it depends 🙂

Ah ha … thanks for that, I’d missed the two seats both have to be booked with Avios points, albeit the second is “free”
