Off to Canada via Seattle for 2.5 weeks this summer and need to book a one way car hire on Vancouver Island for 6 days (pick up Victoria, drop off Victoria Airport) and a round trip car hire from Calgary Airport for another 5 days. Canadian Affair is coming out cheapest by far on VI even taking into account Amex Plat status with Avis and Hertz. Has anyone had any experience with them please and would you recommend them? Would be utilising the Amex Plat car hire insurance.
Not recent but we hired one way from Calgary to Vancouver with Canadian Affair back in Sept 2018. It was by far the cheapest. My car was with Avis and we got an an awesome upgrade (I had Avis status through Amex plat, though I believe technically that shouldn’t make a difference.
Things may have changed by from my experience it comes highly recommended
Thanks @DTR, good to know you’ve had a positive experience. The dummy booking I did for Victoria also showed up as Avis so perhaps they are the preferred partner for Canadian Affair (still coming in much cheaper than going with Avis direct!)
