Before I sit on hold for ages I thought id ask what might be going on with my flights
We had two bookings to singapore one 241 and one on an upgrade voucher but the flight was cancelled, it defaulted to offer a flight we didnt want
It was easy to get hold of avios but they offered me no resolution so we did not get to a solution before the flight left, without speaking to me I have just been rebooked again for flights in May that leave and return on the same day, weirdly these now show up as earning avios and tier points but still class U
The 241 booking we only after months of trying managed a 7 minute phone call with BA being cut off half way through discussing the terms of what could occur, a few days later the airmiles have been returned but no tax money or voucher. Today a random flight from London to Manchester has appeared for September on the same booking reference
any thoughts on what might be going on lol
The Manchester one sounds like a “ghost” segment related to the booking being refunded, the cash usually takes longer than the points
The other one sounds like they potentially put some flights in to keep the booking alive, you’d need to contact them again to discuss the dates or to get a refund
