Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Cancelled BA flights now rerouted onto LNER

It appears that any cancelled domestic flights today or tomorrow, the tickets can be used on any LNER service no questions asked. Not sure where else it’s been published bit I saw it here: https://www.facebook.com/1521832568075995/posts/3124435891148980/?substory_index=0

A Manchester-London ticket can be more than the price of a flight atm! Not much help if you’ve got loads of luggage though. When this happened to us, BA paid for a taxi to LHR, at a cost of £300 – which to be fair isn’t far off a first class train ticket!

I did wonder about the Manchester route as LNER doesn’t go to Manchester!

You can buy tickets for other than LNER operated trains including Manchester to London on their website so maybe they fall within the terms of this offer.

Good grief; fat chance getting luggage onto the ONE train per hour running from Manchester to London. I’d tell them where to stuff that offer and await my taxi.
