    I’ve just done exactly the same, although mine was only LHR-SIN. The wait on the phone was not too bad – about 30 mins.
    Avios came back immediately. Cash was promised in 5 days. This was March 9th. Nothing received so phoned again on 22nd-promised in 4 days and supposedly a second “urgent” message sent through to refunds dept…….we’ll see.
    If it doesn’t come on that timescale I’m going to send a letter before action and just go to MCOL. I shouldn’t have to wait any longer.

    Hi – related but hopefully still on-topic…
    Does Book-with-Confidence mean (for now) you can cancel an Avios redemption AFTER T-24 but BEFORE check-in closes and still get a refund? Practically how does this work? By phone only..?

    I just posted a similar question, which was answered here.

    Assuming travel before Sept 30th, you can request a voucher up until check in closes. They’ll then refund this to you a while later (no fees, so this is the best way to do it regardless)

    I’m not sure why this post has resurfaced, but I finally received the refund this morning, so total of 19 days after cancelling.

    On supergers other question I just dialled the silver number and got through in about half an hour.
