Can’t link new Nectar card to BA Club (Avios)

Because my old Nectar card got defrauded I got a new Nectar account. I have just got round to unlinking my old Nectar number with BA Exec Club. Did that but, I can’t link my new one to Avios account. If I try on the BA website the ‘Link Accounts’ button is dimmed out. And if I try on the Nectar site it goes into a circular process asking me to login. It asks for my 2FA code, I supply it, then it goes back to square one and asks me to login and supply my 2FA code etc etc.
Anyone else encountered this issue? Is it broken? If not where do I start with getting help with this?
I think you’ll have to contact a human for that. Probably at tne Nectar end. It sounds like it was blocked due the fraud but not unblocked when replacement issued.
Thanks LadyLondon. I think you’re right. At least the folk at Nectar are easy to get hold of. Their chat function works well, even if it’s slow.
