Assuming the answer is no, but can the Cabin Upgrade Voucher be converted to Avios once issued? There are no BA destinations I want to fly to before it expires next November so in hindsight it’s become worthless to me.
And prefetching the “How can you have exhausted BA’s route map?” question: we’ve already booked BOM for the Maldives and we want our other long-haul trip to be Peru. I’ve basically had enough of booking holidays based on reward availability.
The answer is indeed no. Once you’ve got it you can’t go back.
But don’t forget you could use it on a shirt haul route for a weekend away where there will be far more availability.

Perhaps, yes. Better than completely letting it lapse. I also considered SCL but SCL-LIM is quite the diversion
I can recommend IB for MAD-LIM. Santiago worth a visit but as you say it’s a diversion if you are really aiming for Peru.
