Changing cabin after booking

Hi, I’ve tried to find out online but can’t see! I’m trying to use an upgrade voucher to NY to fly club world there & back. However there’s no CW availablity on the inbound at the moment… if I book premium & then CW becomes available is it possible to change the inbound leg without having to cancel the entire booking? I don’t know if using a voucher & then trying to change to a different class causes an issue

Yes, its possible, but you will probably have to phone to make the amendment and pay a change fee. You probably cannot change the return flight once you have flown the outbound.
