Changing from Business to F online?

I have a 241 booked in biz F has now opened up on one leg, can I change to F online? or do I need to call BA?

I have tried calling BA but the options to change results in the call being terminated because “they are too busy”. Is there a way around this?

You could be cheeky and call YouFirst (search HfP for the number) which will be answered quickly. The agent MAY be willing to help as you want to upgrade into F.

I recently called YouFirst do this, was told I shouldn’t really have done it but they would help anyway.

To be honest it never occurred to me that this was being cheeky, i wanted to book an F flight, did it really matter whether it was a new booking or just amending an existing one?
