I have just seen availability to Chicago come up and want to fly there instead of NYC. Do I have to cancel the whole trip or will they just change outward destination. I dont want to lose my return seats which will stay the same. Thanks for any help.
As long as NYC and Chicago are in the same redemption zone which i think they are you can do this.
However you will have to ring up and depending on when you originally booked you may get hit with extras charges.
I needed to do a similar change yesterday late afternoon. Through in under five minutes , although the change mechanics took an age. A recalculation of fees resulted in me paying about an extra £60. There was no fee for the change itself, even though I expected to pay fees for both passengers.
Change fees are effectively being waived at the moment due to BWC.
