Club lounge at B gates today.
Tough start as the lounge dragon didn’t even look up. Just grabbed the mobile to scan the boarding pass and pushed it back. Not even a hello or ‘you can go in’.
Pizza slices were rock solid but the Indian hot food saved the day. Peshawari chicken curry and rice were fantastic. Looks like they poached a few good cooks from Southall. Was a shame many turned up their nose at the thought of having a curry at the lounge.
The lounge was quiet.
@AndrewT – A newly purchased Airalo esim does not expire! if not used! The data packages that you add to the sim does.
Just checked into the Kimpton de Witt and mentioned the secret password.

3rd time was a charm and I won two cocktails.
Also pre upgraded yesterday to a premium room. Never enough coat hangers not that there’s much room as wardrobe is small!

Ok thanks for clarifying. I thought I spotted a July 2026 date somewhere, but may have imagined it!
I know that travel must begin and conclude before 30th of September 2025 for Covid-19 vouchers. However, is the same true for the customer relations issued vouchers? I have one for £400 expiring 25th of October and running out of ideas of where to use it before then. The cash rates are cheaper on other airlines even after the voucher deduction for the destinations I am interested in.
