Turned cold here in AMS but I’m back home later today. So breakfast, some last shopping then packing and airport.
Hope exit process is quicker than the 50 mins it took to clear passport control last week!

I believe you have stayed at the Kimpton De Witt on several occasions, I presume you are satisfied with the property,
I file recommendations for future visits, so this property will be added to my list, for a future trip.
Re your passport control delays, I would have been satisfied with 50 minutes, on my 3 hour delay at BOG in 30c heat, last December!

Was behind a flight from an exotic destination where passports and documents were checked carefully!
All I got was “hello” and then “enjoy your stay”
Can’t wait for EES to start in October though.
@Gordon – yes very satisfied. It’s close to where my friends live and the bars we go to as well as a tram stop and also close to a Centraal.

Hope everyone had a lovely sunny weekend! Asking for a friend – if you apply for an AMEX and they ask for proof of income, does acceptance count from the day they request it, the day you supply it, or the day they confirm they are are happy with it? TIA.
