Anyone have more info about what’s happening with Avios transfers as per TLFL article “ British Airways Suspends ‘Combine My Avios’ Transfers With No Warning”?
Sounds disastrous.
I am still awaiting reimbursement from Ryanair re alternative flight, hotel, food expenses etc from early July when they cancelled my flight back to the UK from France. I have received numerous emails from them saying they have received my claims ( everything had to be submitted individually ) and are looking at it. The last email was over two weeks ago saying the same thing. It’s now over six weeks since the claims were submitted. Is this reasonable ? I’m not sure what to do next?

I would wager there’s a fraud issue where some of BA’s internal processes might need sharpened up, so blocking transfers until this is resolved is the blunt solution.

There have been quite a few reports of fraud between BA/IB, to be fair.
