Looks like Vietnam Airlines are matching hotel status, has this been discussed and I’ve missed it?

Not discussed, but unattractive to UK pax as it doesn’t get you access to clubhouse.

Or indeed any lounges, but their own.

Do you know which hotels they are status matching with and what status vietnam airlines will give in return.
Is it possible that in less than one minute all the tickets for the summer party are gone? 😀 😀 I shows “join waitlist” with no option to buy the tickets….
Ticket purchased now looking for hotel to stay at thinking the “art’otel hoxton”

That would be great!!! but I also downloaded the app and also showing no tickets 🙁
I’m just back from a trip to Egypt and am thoroughly confused by Egyptair’s seat numbering policy. The ABC HJK bit is logical, but the seat rows are odd. For the international flights the first row of seats was row 8, and on one of the domestic flight it start at row 20. I’m sure there must be a logical reason but I’m not sure what it is.

Its simply luck to get tickets
Like these. Three times I got a ticket in the basket but then it wouldn’t complete through Apple Pay. Some got tickets at after 12.10 so it’s pure luck. Why it allows a ticket to go ina basket and still fail is a pain in the ass but that’s life.I know this is crystal-ball territory, but if you were in the market for a family February half-term trip to the Caribbean, would you say that it’s best to book now (with prices being pretty extortionate) or are they likely to budge around the customary six-month mark? Currently looking at direct BA flights and at £1100 each for economy, it just doesn’t sit right (especially when it’s £550 the week before HT).
Half-term holidays aren’t my forte, so keen to get some collective wisdom! I’ll get better at this, without a doubt…

From studies people have done, usually about 3 to 6 months out is cheapest IIRC. But it’s really crystal ball territory
Are the confirmation emails that BA send out to acknowledge submission of a claim normally instant? I submitted one yesterday but haven’t had an email and foolishy didn’t screenshot the claims reference number at the end of the process.
Honest Burgers are launching a loyalty programme apparently.

Do like the most, fly the day before the holidays 🙂
I always use miles for half-terms, otherwise, as you wisely identified, prices are extortionate.

What cabin did you travel in? Some airlines have aircraft that differing configurations ie some have a 1st class, business and economy while others only have business and economy and others just economy class. And they count consistently. That way it apparently avoids / reduces confusion as for example row 1 will always be 1st class, row 10 Business and row 20 economy class regardless of aircraft. So an aircraft that doesn’t have 1st class but does have business may start with row 10.

I think this is it.
The Thai Airways 777 I was on started at row 11. I understand some of their other aircraft have first class.…family February half-term trip to the Caribbean, would you say that it’s best to book now (with prices being pretty extortionate) or are they likely to budge around the customary six-month mark? BTW February half term 2026 has two other demand drivers, Valentines day and Carnival.
