What does it show in MMB when you look at selecting a seat?
Seatguru is hugely out of date – Aerolopa is much better for seat maps.
What are people’s opinions on the Thistle at Heathrow? Probably between that and the premier inn. On the last night MAN-LHR then the morning LHR-HND so will just be in, sleep, out.
Photos of the thistle look a bit underwhelming but thinking with it being a flying stop the bus ride is worth it to save £100 vs the Sofitel.
It’s fine – basic but totally fine especially if late arriving /early departing.Pods are much better ( but more expensive )than bus.
… which would make sense, as apart from the most heavily used services, all passenger railways in the world loose money apart from those running on tracks that are primarily in existence to carry freight (which much of the US network is).
If you think the Metro North lines in the NY area are primarily a freight network you’d be very wrong indeed. Similar the passenger commuter lines around Chicago.
