Found this which looks handy. Not tried it yet though
Find out how many Avios are needed to book flights with British Airways on Google Flights with our Chrome Extension
Doesn’t do reward flight saver so not very useful

Hey Sam, founder here. Thank you very much for sharing this. I’d love to get your feedback and any feature requests!

It does have reward flight saver prices built in. More airlines and features coming soon!
I couldn’t even look at it because you’ve gone full on dark mode. Even trying to see if there is a non-dark mode option sent my head spinning.
But it doesn’t seem a very common issue given the increasing prevalence of dark mode use so I wish you the best of luck! I’ll take my astigmatism elsewhere.
Sad face.

Got it to work. But, the Value per avios seems to be comparing the Roundtrip total cost versus only one leg avios needed.. Should be twice the # of avios if i’m looking at a return trip.

Can’t get it to work. Installed te extension, pinned it, went on goofle flights and can’t seem to get it to work. Is the green button meant to be the trigger?

Completely agree with you on this – apologies. I’ve now fixed this so that the text is the correct colour based on your settings.
If you have any more feedback, please do share, it is incredibly helpful. Thank you!

Apologies it only supports one way routes right now. Will get round trip added very soon. Thank you for trying it out!

Sorry to hear that. It is now enabled for round trip routes so should show up now. It will automatically display on the page when an applicable route is shown (Ba/Iberia).
Lots of fixes have been applied – I hope the issue is solved?
Quick update: It now displays avios needed for partner airlines booked via British Airways too (CX, AY & JL).
Looks like the avios required for F seats is double what it should be, and it’s not taking into account peak periods e.g. for JNB the tool is showing 340k avios required for a round trip on mid-August peak dates; that should be 200k for peak, and 170k for off-peak.
Thank you for flagging this, I’ve just fixed this. It will be released in the next update. The taxes & fees are estimated – does anyone know of a good resource to find the amounts?
So are we all assuming that Sam (who started this thread despite saying they hadn’t tried the chrome extension, yet cared enough to create a thread on it and then never bothered to check on and respond to the replies over the past 5 days) is the same as SmartWithPoints (the creator of the extension who amazingly found this thread and created an account to reply to comments)?
I guess it’s a way to get people to beta test your creation for free 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe Sam will suddenly respond to this thread now I’ve put this here?
Hey. No, I’m not the creator and have no association. I do enough coding in my day job, don’t have time nor motivation to do any outside!
Rob/Rhys can prob validate (if necessary which I hope is not, don’t want to waste their time)
Who cares??! It looks like a pretty useful add on so good to know about it. Does it work on Macs?
Can also vouch that I’m not Sam. Thankfully I know how to use Google which led me to this thread.

Thank you. It works on Mac when using Google Chrome, however there is no support for Safari yet. It is on the roadmap!
Another update:
✅ Added support for multi-stop routes on BACant seem to get the chrome extension “Smart Redemptions: Avios Points on Google Flights” working
It is very simple but its not showing the data, even on their own example. Anyone found a fix or is it just me?Cant seem to get the chrome extension “Smart Redemptions: Avios Points on Google Flights” working
It is very simple but its not showing the data, even on their own example. Anyone found a fix or is it just me?Hey, apologies about this. I identified a bug with the app when on google.co.uk’s version of Google flights. This has now been fixed and the new version (1.7.3) is in review with the Google Extensions team. If you still experience any issues with the new version please let me know.

im afriad still not working, new version installed
Hi, it does not work for me. Turn on the extension, restarted the chrome and still not showing the underlining data as shown in your example.
Edit: It’s working for me now, thank you. Looks like a useful tool.
Great tool, thanks. Two small improvements/feature requests:
– I usually find it to be best value to pay the taxes in full and use the minimum avios amount (for example, 2,950 for a short-haul flight in Europe instead of 9,250). It would be great to have that option in the settings (and reflect this accordingly in the value per avios).
– It would be much for legible if a thousand separator was included in the avios amount (as in my previous bullet). Many thanks!
Just installed the latest version this morning and it is not showing the avios points on any google flight searches on chrome. Any ideas how to fix it ?

Sorry to hear that – are you able to share the exact URL for the google flights page you’re trying to use? here or email is great. would love to get it working for you.

These are really helpful thank you. I’ve added no.2 and will work on no.1 (data is a lot harder to get). Thanks again for checking it out!
