Claim Status Miles after Rebooking (Rwandair)

Recently flew back from JNB-LHR booked with Rwandair
One of their flights was delayed by 12 hours so asked to be rebooked and ended up travelling Ethiopian.

As I flew Ethiopian metal I’ve tried my luck to get the status miles credited to my LH Miles & More account.
I’ll find out soon enough if it will be accepted but anyone been in a similar situation and did status miles get credited or rejected?

I flew Ethiopian 2 months ago with my M&M number in the booking, got all the benefits but am struggling to get miles credited to my account. The missing miles request on the M&M site has disappeared into a black hole, and Ethiopian CS are dreadful.

This thread prompted me to try again with claiming missing Ethiopian miles via the retro credit link on the M&M website: https://www.miles-and-more.com/row/en/account/account-statement/retro-credit-intro.html

Lo and behold the miles were credited to my account immediately after I’d entered all the flight details so give it a try!

Thanks Deek I just came back to this thread to say the same thing.
My first flight credited and added the second just now and it was immediate.
Pretty good result for me. 240 status miles for a flight that was originally booked Rwandair!
