Just had an email saying my booking for escape lounge Manchester T3 will be closed from 10th June does anyone know why? This means there is no lounge access now at T3 full stop which is bad considering all the money being spent to update the airport.

I’ve read on FT that BA are setting up a temporary lounge in T3 till they move to T2 later in the summer.
Not sure what’ll be happening with Ryanair – I think the idea may be that people will use lounges in other terminals then walk to T3 gates!
It’s likely for the new T1/T3 merger works. They’re creating a 500 seat bar and 200 seat restaurant area where the old BA lounge was, and obviously incorporating the Escape into it.

I’m flying with Ryanair on the 12th June so 2 days too late. The only other lounge the airport is showing is the Aether one so doesn’t look like there’s any choice for now.

This is all part of the “arrive at T1 entrance and walk all the way to the T3 gates project” with stacks more retail and much longer walks for
all passengers that is scheduled for 2027.Thanks, yes, I meant specifically next week, e.g. around the rumoured BA temporary offering after June 10th! I don’t think the bar and restaurant will appear overnight 😂.
Happily most of the rest of my summer and autumn travel will be on IB in T2, however.
