Very aware this is a first world problem, but flew back Venice to London today in CE and the afternoon tea offering included scones, jam and… butter??? Has the clotted cream been cancelled? If so it feels VERY nickel and diming to me.
Some sort of supply chain issue i believe
Flew BHD to LHR last month and afternoon tea with no clotted cream for us.
Staff said they didn’t know why there was none loaded.I don’t like clotted cream and would much prefer butter! I asked once and they said they didn’t have any, which in itself is a bit poor.
They seemed to have it in galleries as I had it this weekend!
Afternoon Tea-gate?
