Club Avolta – unable to link to BA Exec Club

Anyone else (still) having problems doing this?

Have tried several times but keep getting a message saying

“Unable to link the account with the partner’s system, please try to link the account again or contact support”

[Not Long Now...]

Mine came up with “unable” yesterday morning then mid afternoon got an email confirming link. Lovely to see that when joining BA, the IT comes out in sympathy…

Nothing from support even after chasing but I just tried to link accounts and it worked!

Those 5k points will ever be convertible to avios – as Rob wrote in the comments in his original article.
