    Hi
Can someone please tell me if this is a club suite layout? It’s a SIN to LHR 777 and seats are 1-2-1 going from rows 5 to 24
    I can’t upload pics unfortunately

Any thoughts on the best seats for a couple : there seems to be a smaller cabin at front and at the back

Club suite is rubbish for a couple. The central seats have dividers that drop down, but it’s like talking to a prisoner through a cell window. Best bet is to get seats across an aisle from each other in my view, or cross your fingers and hope for an aircraft swap to one of the older seats.

think the above is unnecessarily negative, just sit one behind the other and enjoy the space, pop your head above the seat to talk and swap film recommendations when you want to

@executiveclubber, you’re right that I was unnecessarily negative. Flying business class is always an enormous privilege, even if the cabin hasn’t been designed with my needs on mind.

But I do prefer the old seats when I’m flying with my wife. I think BA has missed a trick by aiming at sole travellers at a time when the market is swinging towards premium leisure.

I appreciate your reply, of course it’s an enormous privilege we all enjoy which is why we get so passionate about things like seating arrangements! 🙂

Yes, one behind the other is as good for communicating as the middle pair and you both get a window seat.

Being short, I have to stand up or kneel on the seat to talk to my OH in the seat behind, but it’s good for a leg stretch!

Depends on the couple! We are very happy to sit for hours doing our own thing and not talking. We, individually, find plenty to keep us amused on a long flight.

    CS over CW every time.

I also appreciate how quiet business class cabins usually are, because they are not full of people yakking away to each other.
