Cracking response LL – couldn’t have put it better myself.
For those who can’t get enough of this topic, this thread takes a similar turn:
I am now worried that I have no knowledge of what a PET bottle is.
However this is one of my favorite threads of all time, only bettered by the one in which JDB mentioned he tipped the staff in his friends houses, Northern Lass and I discussed if Fray Bentos tinned pies were a Northern or Southern thing (they were both), and someone else thought they had wandered into an episode of Downton Abbey by mistake.
Thanks for the link @Froggee, hours of free entertainment, depending on how you value your time.
@Lady-London I would prefer if the garments in question were not referred to as Tracksuits as I’m pretty certain most of them have never been anywhere near a track. I’d prefer the use of ‘Precinct Wear’ which, if you are interested, can be found in all good (and bad) branches of JD Sports and Sports Direct.

It’s what you use to keep you dog hydrated on long flights, because they can’t get their nose in to the glass of water that the cabin crew insist on serving!
@Man-of-Kent – precinct wear does seem apt, particularly if you also use the term precinct in its US sense as a Police Station where I’m sure that many of the involuntary visitors arrive wearing said garments and I believe are given them if they remain as overnight guests. Tracksuits in a sports context are of course totally different – even coloured ones are allowed at Queen’s between October and April. I don’t think they have a policy/rule re tattoos but they might not assist ones application so probably not necessary.
@Misty – not sure if Fray Bentos is southern or northern at all. It’s in the west of Uruguay although the official name of the country is República Oriental del Uruguay, so could be considered east.

My first thought was Precinct 13!

Perfect contribution to this useless thread. Thank you for pulling me back on board. I cast out my net a bit too wide. A baby shower of a passing acquaintance I attended yesterday was to blame. Third contribution reflected my sixth tipple of Dimple. Absolutely despise such events. Usually spend my time in the hallway reserved for long forgotten family members. Perhaps I should’ve curtailed my train of thought a bit. I do apologise to anybody who might feel offended or did not fully understand my logic. We are all human.
