Has this benefit now gone? I actually have a use for it early next year (3 PAX traveling in premium), I can guest my partner in as I am Gold but need to get “stepdaughter” in!
It’s been a while since I heard of this one! But, yes, it’s disappeared. After the 1,000 renewal, you’re on for two reward vouchers at 2,000. Those vouchers, though, can’t be used for Clubhouse access.
Is stepdaughter young enough that they’ll turn a blind eye on the door?
She’s 22, so I don’t think a blind eye would be turned! Interestingly, though, the T&Cs still contain reference to the vouchers!
2.23. Gold Membership 1500 Tier Point Clubhouse Invitations
2.23.1 Gold Members who have earned 1500 Tier Points or more in their membership year will receive two invitations for access to any of the VAA Clubhouses, or Revivals at London Heathrow.
2.23.2 The Gold Member must be travelling to use the Clubhouse invitations. The Gold member will receive access as per their current Gold tier benefit; however, the Clubhouse invitations can be used for additional passengers travelling with the Gold member. These invitations may only be used by travellers who are Members of the FC Programme and are flying with VAA
