    Hi all,

    I’m having issues with Combine my Avios and wondered if there’s an issue with it currently or if it’s just me. I’ve tried last night and tonight with Safari then Chrome.

    I’ve tried to use BA’s site to transfer out to EI. The error “Combine my Avios is unavailable” appeared after I logged in. I then tried on IB and it’s the same.

    Would a kind soul mind checking? If yours is OK, any tips on what I’m doing wrong? I am part of a household account but I read on another thread that this problem is fixed.

    Not working for me either.

    1 thing to check is that the DOB, E-mail and Address match exactly on both accounts.

    Having said that, mine are exactly the same and still not working.

    I am also in a household account (BA).

    Trying to call BA Customer support, but it seems they’d not prefer to ‘send you a (useless) text with information’ than actually speak to you. Will update if i have any success.

    Update from BA Customer Support –

    At first the agent told me this functionality was not available, i could only transfer to Iberia or Qatar.

    When i gave him the weblink of the ba.com page offering the transfer function, he took down details of my technical issue with the website and assured me someone from the customer service team would investigate and revert within 72 hours.

    I will be shocked if this happens but will keep this forum posted.

    Eventually I phoned Aerclub and they transferred my Avios from BA to Aer Lingus in real time for me.

    Broken for me too… no rush to move just keep an eye on it I guess

    (EI -> BA for me though, should be same BA page)

    Still not working – now just displays a blank page. I’ve reported it twice.

    Reading various threads across this forum and flyertalk, I did manage to transfer points out of AerClub to BA a wee while back using Microsoft Edge in Private Browsing mode. Then Aer Lingus messed with their site and I couldn’t get anything to work.

    So yesterday tried this

    1. Created a brand new AerClub account
    2. Changed my BA Exec email to match the AerClub email

    Went to try CMA at the BA balance transfer tool page https://www.britishairways.com/travel/btt/execclub/_gf/en_gb

    And it worked, this time in Safari (normal mode). Transferred Avios BA > EI and booked ok. Even went back in later to transfer some more Avios BA > EI for next time.

    Before I posted this, I thought I’d best check. Now, again, it doesn’t work. On any browser in any stealth mode.

    There’s something odd with BA logins being a bit ‘sticky’ i.e. can’t logout (or in) without a significant delay, maybe that’s a factor.

    From the multitude of hints and tips I’m guessing that nobody has a guaranteed way of getting BA’s exasperating IT to work?
