Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Combine my Avios – Vueling > BA

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. In the past I have gone to Avios.com, clicked ‘Combine My Avios’ and transferred Avios to/from BA to/from Vueling. This functionality appears to have been removed some weeks ago from Avios.com and now I get “Error 404. This page has not been found”. What is the best way to do this now? I have asked Vueling but they haven’t responded as yet.

Go to the BA site and choose ‘Avios Partners’ (iirc) in the place you would choose Iberia. Put your Vueling email/password.

You can also do this from Iberia.

Tried elit on the BA site and I keep getting an error:

Sorry, Combine my Avios was unsuccessful. Please contact us

I did a live chat with BA and it said Vueling to VA isn’t possible.

Do I need to phone BA executive club or was chat wrong ?

Chat was wrong. Vueling to BA is totally possible. If you struggle, try sending it via Iberia.

I received the same error message on BA’s Combine My Avios when using a Mac desktop and Safari, Firefox and/or Opera.
Then I tried Chrome with success.

I’m getting an error on iberia.com when I try and use it as an intermediary.

I will try again with BA chat.

After one hour chatting to an agent, who kept telling me to link my BA account to QR (!!!). Amongst other things suggestions were different browser, incognito mode l and try later.

They eventually said they’ll escalate the issue.

Called avios.com and spoke to a very knowledgeable agent named Victoria who transferred the Avios to BA. She said the combine Avios is down on the public website.

Apparently me having an account on Aer Lingus and one on Vueling is a problem and she’s going to speak to a manager to determine what’s the best way forward cos right now my Aer club account is pending a deletion. That’s something I initiated in order to try and solve the problem
