15,000 points has been the standard offer for ages and ages. It’s not particularly exciting compared to the offers that Barclays and Amex have launched in recent months, or Virgin’s own 30,000 offer last spring.

Virgin Money learned quicker than most how not to get burned by points/miles collectors. The decent bonuses on current account you can get only once, some games with the ISA a few years ago were also cut short by rule changes. Miles on savings accounts were carefully constructed. Thus, it’s no surprise that there is little change on the credit card offers when taking this past behaviour and fee cap together.

So looking at the 30K sign up bonus, I went ahead to apply only to be rejected possibly due to higher income and household income. So will need to write in, but I’m just thinking about how to word it and what to include in the letter, any possible pointers in what to write? I am grateful for any help!

Yes he did, he did mention some things but wrote to write a ‘few paragraphs’ but i did wonder what can one actually write to them, i can mention everything that rob wrote but that would be like a paragraph or letter as such. Any pointers or anyone with experience with this would be sincerely appreciated!
