Companion voucher First return to LAX

If I have a First return made with a companion voucher and I decide to change it to a one way will I get half the Avios and half the fees back, less £50×2?

You should get half the avios back, however First surcharge pricing is not as predictable as fees in RFS cabins so you may have paid more one way than the other. Normal change fee should be £35 pp though. You can’t cancel half of it online so they should waive the phone charge.
