Hi there,
Not sure if this has been answered before but couldn’t find anything on it. I am currently Red and my wife is Silver. We have not made a household account yet with my wife being Silver however I plan to soon. I have a companion voucher on my account. If we use this for 2 Upper Class tickets, will we still need to pay 50% points of the second ticket, or would it be 241 as my wife is Silver? I’m not sure what the answer is seeing as the companion voucher (or the credit card reward which I have not redeemed yet) is on my account which is Red.
Thanks!
The status of the account holder whose account has the voucher in is what’s important, so officially it would need the second ticket to be paid at 50% points. I imagine that even VS’ flexibility and generosity would be stretched a bit to use your voucher with your wife as the lead booker. As a Red, you can’t even gift the voucher, either, so that route isn’t open to you, either.
