Is it still possible to see your membership year date and total spend progress towards your next companion voucher in the Amex app? You used to be able to see this by clicking the ‘Membership’ tab in the app but mine no longer displays this info?

I have messed this up?
Realised that I was close to triggering the £12,000 spend for a BA economy companion voucher on BA Blue. The end date is today 6th September, I spent more than the required amount on the 5th at Amazon, but it’s still showing as pending today. Will the spend count if it doesn’t post today?
If it hasn’t cleared then you won’t get the voucher, you left it way too late to be honest! If this is the case then you can try speaking with Amex to ask if they have some discretion with issuing it, but there’s no guarantee that they will be helpful.
Amex transactions can take a couple of days to clear (even longer at weekends) so you should always leave plenty of wiggle room if you’re close to a target.

Got the message this morning from BA that a Companion Voucher has landed in my BA Account.
Now I just have to read through the articles to find what the best value options are for an economy companion voucher and how to use it.
