Quick query, my daughter is part of our household account and she has her own Amex points balance on her own cards. She could transfer her Amex points into her own BAEC account which is part of the household account – but would it be possible to actually transfer her points into avios in MY BAEC account?
ie two sources into one account?
Can’t be done – the names on Amex and BAEC accounts need to match. If you’re both in the same HHA I don’t see how it matters much anyway.
Even if you’ve had the foresight to call your daughter Ronnie as well, having two people’s Amex accounts pointing to same BAEC account feels like something that could be flagged down the line even if you did manage to get it set up.
As Stu says, can’t be done. Being in the same HHA should be sufficient, but if you need them in your account to use on Qatar, then you can transfer from her BAEC to yours for £50. Might not be worth it if its only a small amount, or if you are planning on doing it regularly.
Does this transfer method still work?
It fixed a major issue of mine where I had to still be linked to my ex!
