Credit card upgrade voucher validity

Hi,

I earnt a credit card upgrade voucher in October 2020 – is the 2 year validity book by or fly by? And has anyone had any experience of its validity being extended?

There was a thread on exactly this yesterday with a couple of readers’ useful examples given.

It will have already been extended by 6 months at least once I believe, and quite possibly twice, so it will be valid for bookings made by April ‘23 approx, and therefore for travel through to March ‘24. If you call Virgin they can clarify dates, it may very well have an expiry of Oct ‘23.

Thanks for signposting this, I don’t believe it covered the specific question about extended validity though
