Good morning and happy Friday
Last week i arrived in PKX via DOH. This was a rebooked trip from BA due to last year’s route suspension. 1st leg was operated by BA, 2nd leg operated by QR. BA credited my account with the 140TPs within the 3 days timeframe but QR hasn’t yet done that. Anyone else having similar experience of TP credit by QR? Also note that my return flights via DOH to LHR are late tonight.
My second question is about avios. BA’s flight awarded 2502 avios instead of the expected 7320 as per the avios calculator, based on total eligible spending. Any thoughts on this?
Thank you
BA posts TPs and avios to Exec club accounts when QR tells them you’ve flown the flight.
QR just take their own time in doing that.
Your flights tonight won’t be affected by that lack of posting of the previous one.
Avios based on spend doesn’t kick in till 1 April I thought
Thanks for your responses. i guess i have to wait a bit despite the fact the the DOH-PKX is shown as flown at my bookings. I wonder if i have to complete the whole journey before i see any TPs and avios from QR
In the meantime. An extra day to a PKX hotel due to LHR’s disruption
Avios based on spend doesn’t kick in till 1 April I thought
I think the number of Avios awarded for a flight has been revenue based for a while, it’s the number of tier points earned that is changing to a revenue based system as opposed to distance flown from 1st April.
