My wife is going to a Crowne Plaza for a spa day, with no overnight stay. Does anyone know if it’s possible to earn points on such endeavours?
IME it depends whether the spa is run by a separate company, however if you haven’t got a stay booked I’m not sure how they’d link the payment to your account.
I did, when I was organising my sister’s hen weekend, but that’s only because I had several e-mails promising that there would be vegan food options at the included lunch, and then there was nothing.
The vegans in the party got a slew of points, and I did too (which was a bonus!).
Hopefully that’s not a typical experience, in this day and age!
