Current BA Gold – (Extension / Expiry Question)

As per the title of this thread I’m currently BA Gold (960 TPs towards this years target) and TP collection year end of 9th Sept.

BA extended my gold card expiry to Oct 2023 a while ago (as they did quite a few).
Is there any incentive for me to chase the remaining 165 TPs needed to hit 1125 TPs this year?
For example would BA extend gold to Oct 2024 if I hit the 1125 TPs this year?

No it wouldn’t be extended to 2024

To get a 2024 end date you’d need to re qualify in your new 22/23 year

May be of some use but the lower thresholds apply until 30th December so if you managed 1225 between 9th Sept and then you’d be gold until October 2024

I thought this would be the case. Means I don’t need to chase those final TPs this summer!
