Been playing curtain roulette on BA the last week (i.e., trying to get a seat as far forward in Economy as possible while not getting bumped back if the Business cabin gets expanded)
Flight is tomorrow (Saturday) at 5pm. Had row 8 until Tuesday, then got bumped to row 25.
This morning row 7 opened up. Am I finally safe? I.e., when is the final Business cabin size decided?Many thanks
ArnoldCan still move in last 24 hours & frequently did prepandemic. It’s half term so flight will probably be quite full & BA will try to optimise loads by filling full rows in J & Y hence people in J will be getting shunted around as well.
Where are you currently? If in row 20+ I’d gamble on moving, if row 12- then I’d definitely stick with what you have. Remember that row 13+ on an A319/320 could well have the cr@p, rock hard, non reclining seats so avoiding them would be my priority.
Much prefer to sit at the back, fewer people walking past me, and if it’s Edinburgh they usually board/disembark from the front and rear doors anway.
