Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points
Im looking at going abroad soon and plan a couple of chunky hotel payments when I get there.
Can I sign up to Curve X and use that to pay this on my Avios Plus whilst avoid the fees and successfully collecting the miles?
I’ve searched and can’t seem to find a definitive yes or no.
Of course you can. You’ll be paying the fees for the whole month even if you downgrade or cancel later.
Full terms are at:

Thanks!
So you mean that if I use it to make the foreign purchases and then decide to cancel, they’ll charge the fees?
I think i’ll be signing up and using it quite a lot for this kind of thing so no worries there
The fee is per month. And you’ll have to pay it even using for part of the month.
Remember that each plan has a limit – 1k per month for the X plan for fx fee free payments. In addition you might pay charges if you spend on a weekend. All in the above link.

Amazing, thanks a lot for clearing up.
